East Spencer Fire Department Brief Profile

Employees:  The ESFD currently has 35 members, including volunteers

Vehicles:  The ESFD has two (2) fire engines and one (1) squad car used for medical calls and command of incidents.

Assistance:  Mutual Aid agreements are in place with Millers Ferry Fire Dept and Union Fire Dept.

When to call 911

Please only call 911 in a true emergency.  Some examples of these are:  a fire, traffic accident, an immediate need of medical attention or police officer, a gas or any other kind of chemical spill.

When NOT to call 911

Your cable or power goes out, you want the time or temperature, need a taxi, or wondering about school closings.
